Hey there, I'm Rebecca, and my journey with creativity started at a young age, driven by a deep passion for visual expression. While other teens had posters of boy bands, I had self-made mood boards covering my walls, collaged from stacks of magazines that I'd dissect and reassemble into something that felt like me.

That passion for visual identity carried me through an advertising degree at UT Austin and into a decade of startup environments where I picked up every creative skill imaginable: photography, design, art direction, branding. As a Swiss Army knife of sorts, I quickly learned how to think strategically while executing visually.

In 2023, I finally said yes to my inner child who always wanted to build something that's entirely mine. Turns out, all those years of making other people's visions come to life were preparing me to honor my own.

Tbh it all started with a branding exercise where I was compiling a list of things that bothered me. You know, like small talk. Weird chicken. Wet socks. And "rude people..." (after all, kindness costs nothing). For whatever reason, I kept going back to that word and felt it needed a deeper look.

See, as a gal growing up in the South, I was taught to be nice at all costs. To smile, accommodate, stay quiet, and shrink myself to fit into boxes others created. It wasn't until I began setting boundaries and pursuing my own vision that I understood the power of so-called "rudeness."

Because here's the truth: when women honor their inner voice, prioritize their dreams, and simply say "no," society is quick to label them difficult, demanding—rude.

Rude Creative reclaims that word as a badge of honor. We create brands for businesses that refuse to water themselves down or fit into prescribed boxes. Brands that honor the vision that started it all, even when that means breaking a few rules of "proper" behavior along the way. Because sometimes you need to be a little rude to be completely true to yourself.

So why did I decide to call it "Rude" Creative? Well, lemme tell ya...
